Wood Air Cooled Class A Chimney
Rated for handling a chimney fire if needed. Can be installed from the stove or fireplace all the way through to the outside. Close clearances for going through the Ceiling, Roof, and/or Wall. Class A chimney is required for proper installation of a wood system.
Pellet Venting / Chimney
Pellet Venting is rated for getting up to 570°. Due to the design of pellet stoves, it is also made to handle the pressure from the forced exhaust systems. Be aware of the difference between this and the Gas/LP B-Vent chimney - they look very similar but are priced very differently. B-Vent will melt and cause issues on a Pellet system.
Wood Singlewall INDOOR Stovepipe
Singlewall stovepipe is only one layer of metal for venting the smoke. Needs a minimum of 18" of clearance all around it from combustibles.
Wood Doublewall INDOOR Stovepipe
Doublewall stovepipe has two layers of metal with an airspace between to keep clearances close at 6". Going with doublewall increases better draw for your smoke and lowers your chances of a downdraft.
Gas / LP Venting / Chimney
Direct Vent and B-Vent chimney is rated for getting up to temperatures up to 400°
Direct Vent systems use outside air for combustion while the B-Vent style uses your room air.

North Idaho energy pellets and logs
North Idaho Energy Logs Super Premium Pellets. The clear bag lets you see the quality. Like the Energy Logs, Our Premium Pellets are made entirely of wood by-products from sawmills and have no additives. The high density and low moisture content of our Premium Pellets enables it to pack 8400 BTU’s per pound, and creates less than 1/2 of 1% ash.
North Idaho Energy Logs have been tested extensively against other manufactured wood heating logs. The 8lb Energy Log can not be compared one on one with the competition since other logs are lighter, at 2-6 lbs. The tests have been done by weight.
